Danang is one of the leaders in Vietnam in economic reforms and tourism has certainly helped boost the local economy.
Situated roughly half way up the Vietnamese coastline, Danang is a difficult place to pigeonhole. It is technically a city, but is small enough to walk across in a couple of hours. How to get there
Danang is 108km from Hue, 759km from Hanoi and 965km from Ho Chi Minh City.
The airport is 2.5 km south-west of the city. Daily flights to Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Pleiku. Flights to Haiphong two times a week, Nha Trang four times a week, Buon Ma Thuot three times a week.
